Hello again. So, this is a sequel to one of my earlier stories. You should read Highschool reunion first, if you don't there are some aspects that might confuse you. It's not very long.

Beckett and company are investigating the death of a drug lord. The case hits dangerously close to home for Ryan who put the man in prison seven years before. But Ryan is far closer to this case than anyone realizes. So close, that it might get him killed. Things quickly spiral out of control and Ryan is forced to compete with an unknown enemy to keep himself and his friends alive.

Not Ready For Prime-Time Summary - Story will take place in the future.  Alexis is grown and living in Europe, Rick and Kate's twins are also grown - their daughter a dedicated and disciplined academic theorist, their son a rising star in the field of entertainment.  Action revolves around Rick's rescue of Kate from kidnappers with the assistance of the afformentioned offspring.  Pity the fools!  The family gathers and pools their wit and talent, calling also upon Captain Javier Esposito of the 12th Precinct and Kevin "Jack" Ryan, Retired NYPD detective and author. 

A criminal from their past. comes back.  Castle's been kidnapped and it's up to Beckett and the team to find him.  Will they reach him in time and will this crime solving duo finally admit to each other how they really feel.

It's been 89 days since he left. Can you believe it? 89 days... it feels like a million years since he was last in the precinct. It feels like he's a million miles away, even though I know he is in the Hamptons.

All I can say is, that now Castle is back. And I can't even pull myself together long enough to think about what I am going to do about it.

A lack of a body at an obvious crime scene raises red flags and not too few eyebrows. As NYPD Detective Beckett and her sidekick novelist, Richard Castle, investigate, they are led into a tangled web of falsehoods and deceptions - a web that seeks to ensnare the two into its forever grasp. Will the two of them survive? Can they catch the spook killer before he kills another person? More importantly, what will they learn in the course of attempting to unravel this web?
